What are Custom Control Zones?
Control zones are defined areas of your property that can be conditioned separately from other areas. When a zone is activated, airflow is directed where it’s needed, and when it’s turned off, airflow is reduced or redirected. This means the system responds more efficiently.
Zoning can be installed as part of a new ducted system, but it can also be added later as an upgrade, depending on your existing setup. They are created through a combination of:
- Motorised dampers inside the ductwork
- Zone controls and sensors
- A controller that regulates airflow to each area
